From the beginning, he made me feel comfortable, respected, and genuinely heard. What stood out to me the most was how much time José took to actually listen. I never felt rushed or like I was just another patient. He asked thoughtful questions, gave me the opportunity to explain what I was going through, and made sure I understood everything we discussed. I felt like my concerns were taken seriously and that I was actually involved in my treatment. Finding a mental health provider you feel comfortable opening up to is not always easy, but José created an environment where I felt safe talking honestly about what I was experiencing. I left the appointment feeling heard, understood, and much more hopeful about moving forward. “Title: Highly Disappointing Experience – Misleading Intake Process Do not waste your time here. When you are struggling with your mental health, you need an expert, but that is not what I found at this clinic. Despite being told on the phone that I would be seeing a dually qualified psychotherapist and psychiatrist, this was not the case. My intake appointment was conducted by a nurse practitioner. I was informed that she handles the first appointment, and only then—if I chose to return—would I see the “actual” doctor. It makes no sense to waste time and money building an initial therapeutic foundation with someone I have no intention of seeing for the long term. The environment was also completely unsuitable for therapy. It felt more like a bank, real estate, or insurance office—sitting across a desk from someone with a computer while trying to open up about my most personal issues. The entire space felt more like a commercialized ketamine clinic than a place designed for deep, professional therapeutic work. It is disheartening to feel that a business prioritizes profit over genuine clinical vocation and transparency. I feel the money I spent here provided no more value than a coffee with a friend. I am requesting that the owner contact me to discuss a full refund for this misleading experience. Once this is rectified, I will be happy to remove this review. I strongly caution others to look elsewhere for professional care.”
